Paul has over 30 years of development and managerial success on Wall Street as a well-respected, seasoned technologist.  He is the chief architect and development strategist for Quantum.

Paul led several high-profile financial technology successes.  He architected, built and launched the new National Stock Exchange (NSX) as an ultra low latency full-service exchange backed by top global financial institutions.  At its height, NSX scaled to become the largest fully-electronic exchange in the US in 2004, trading 493M shares per day and accounting for 33% market share of NASDAQ-listed stocks.

Paul also re-architected and redeployed the BRUT ECN, and based on this new architecture, BRUT grew to be the second largest global ECN until it was purchased by SunGard and then by NASDAQ.  In addition to launching these exchanges, Paul was previously CTO for Tradeweb Equities at Thomson Reuters and held key roles at Credit Suisse, Bear Stearns, and Spear Leeds & Kellogg.
